Water-free serum for gentle exfoliation and pore decongestion
Introduction
The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution is a water-free product formulated to exfoliate the skin and help decongest pores. Direct acids, specifically alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), are renowned for their ability to support the natural shedding of dead skin.
- Note: The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution is not a direct replacement for Salicylic Acid 2% Solution.
- This product contains a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn.
- Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
How to use:
- Apply in the morning and evening.
- The serum can be used on the entire face or as a spot treatment.
- This product should not be used in the same regimen as: peptides, direct acids, retinoids, direct or ethylated vitamin C, EUK 134 0.1%.
Patch test instructions
- Apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm.
- Keep the area dry.
- If the product has a specified duration of use, rinse off after this time has elapsed. Otherwise rinse off after 24 hours.
- If any redness, burning, itching, blistering or irritation is observed at any time throughout the test, do not use the product.
