What is Money Masque?

Money Masque is a one-step prep treatment designed to penetrate the hair cuticles and provide intensive hydration to our tresses. As a top celebrity hair stylist, Appleton understands the ever-changing hair scene and desire to switch up looks perhaps more than anyone, but stresses the point that we only get one head of hair, which must take priority by putting any moisture back into the hair that is often lost through colouring and styling. Known for their revolutionary, cruelty-free styling innovations such as Color Wow Dream Filter and Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray, good hair must come from within. The Money Masque seeks to strengthen, repair and provide supple locks, whilst leaving hair smooth and glossy without that pesky stiff, wax coating!

What’s so special about it?

The Money Masque is designed to work from within, doing the hard work to make your hair soft and supple rather than simply offering a surface illusion of perfect hair. So you can rest knowing you’ll have locks that look and feel good! Containing ingredients such as Blue Sea Kale, it aids in joining sulphur with damaged keratin to restore your hair’s elasticity and strength. This kale also has powerful anti-oxidants which are beneficial for hair that is colour-treated. It also contains a blend of Mediterranean Sea Kelp and Algae, serving as a natural moisturiser. What’s more, it’s also full of vitamins and minerals. Bleached hair will lap up the mask’s Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein Complex to smooth surfaces.

What’s The Formula Like?

The Money Masque is a lightweight gel-cream formula, designed so that it won’t weigh your hair down. This weightless formula even works for thin, finer hair, so if you usually avoid masks due to this concern, fear not, the Money Masque is perfect for you!

Who is Money Masque Suitable For?

It’s perfect for all hair types: fine, thin, coarse, frizzy, curly, wavy. This treatment can also be used on dehydrated, or damaged hair. And if your tresses are colour-treated, chemically-treated, or keratin-treated, then look no further, this should serve your hair needs!

How Do You Use a Money Masque?

It is recommended to apply this product after you have finished shampooing your hair. You should wring your hair to remove any excess, then apply the mask to wet hair. You can apply through to the ends of your hair with your hands or by using a wide-tooth comb. You should use enough to cover your hair from roots to ends and apply more product as needed. The length of your hair will determine the amount of product you should use.

How long should I leave my Money Masque on for?

You can leave your mask for 3 to 5 minutes in the shower, or up to 20-30 minutes for a deeper treatment. You can also leave the mask on for longer- it will automatically stop working when your hair strands have reached the point of saturation. It is not a leave-in product, and we don’t recommend leaving it on overnight.

How often should I use Money Masque?

It is recommended to use Money Masque every third shampoo. The effects should last this long, so there is no need to use it more frequently.

Is Money Masque Cruelty-Free?

Yes, it’s cruelty free! And it’s also free from other nasties such as parabens and sulphates. It’s also vegan and gluten-free.

Is it Safe for Extensions?

Yes. Money Masque will aid in keeping your extensions smooth, static free, aligned and blended in with natural hair.

When will I see results from using Money Masque?

You should begin to see visible results as early as the first use. For straight hair, locks will be aligned with a soft, silky, glossy finish. For curly hair, your curls should look shiny and springy.
