It’s Here! Get Festive Ready with the NEW L’Oréal Steampod V4!
T’is the season for sparkles, sequins, silliness and, of course, style! Your favourite styler is back and better than ever! Create numerous styles with the professional, all-in-one steam styler, which uses patented steam technology to provide the most effective results yet. Whether you’re looking to create poker straight strands, Hollywood waves or tight curls, Steampod V4 effortlessly brings your vision to life.
What’s the difference between Steampod 3 and Steampod V4 and why should I use a steam-powered styler?
Steampod V3 and Steampod V4 have a lot in common. They both use steam technology to prevent from damaging the hair, as opposed more conventional flat iron-style straighteners. Both Steampods are built on the concept that the steam method is better for the hair, as the vapour opens the hair’s follicle, and enables the penetration of moisture whilst styling.
SteamPod V4 presents some exclusive new features, such as wider ceramic plates which allow for an easier straightening experience, as they now reach 30% closer to the roots and get smooth hair from root to tips. It also features a new ergonomic design that is thinner and rounder. For those who want defined, bouncy curls, Steampod V4 features a new curl locking guide, which heats up to 100°C.
You’ll also find that SteamPod 4 includes a new set of 3 steam-optimizing combs, which are designed to ensure even steam diffusion on all hair types. According to a test comparing the two, subjects found that Steampod 4 offered longer lasting straightening on their hair.
You’ll find a floating upper plate which ensures an effieicent grip on hair, with a choice of 3 heat settings from 180°C to 210°C. The 360° cord has a length of 2.5 metres, so you can simply plug your Steampod in and go without the need for extension leads. And say goodbye to that all-too-familiar “did I leave the straightener plugged in” feeling, as its automatic switch off after 30 minutes gives you reassurance and peace of mind. Forget top-ups mid-styling too, as the integrated water tank allows you to style up to 192m of hair without refilling.
How do I know which comb to use on my Steampod V4?
- Fine tooth comb: for straight to wavy hair
- Intermediate comb: for curly hair
- Wide-tooth comb: for very curly to kinky
If you’re creating certain styles such as crimped hair or “s” style waves, it’s recommended that you remove the comb to achieve the best results.
And to finish your festive ‘do, check out the Loreal Steampod Normal Fine Milk to use before you use your Steampod. Simply add to towel-dried hair evenly over lengths and ends and begin styling. It’s ideal for replenishing the hair without adding any weight, whilst the Loreal Steampod Paddle Brush can be used on wet and dry hair to brush out curls, finish straight locks and more! And to add smoothness and shine, look no further than the Steampod Serum!
